Why does daddy’s idea of bathtime center around activities not involving bathing? Quite simply, it’s because one of the most important lessons a father must bestow upon his son is the art of the shampoo mohawk.

I first looked at this photo and couldn’t believe how old our boy looks. Only 8 months old and already he’s growing up too fast.

We’ve had too many projects going on at home lately…trying to work on G’s toy chest, finishing up the rain barrel, adding features to our homemade DVR box, baby-proofing the house, selling my camera, cleaning the kegerator, fixing the squeaky dryer. Sadly, blogging about our boy has fallen to the bottom of the list. Hopefully that’ll change soon as we seem to have gotten on top of the todo list, at least for now. There are still a lot of projects planned for this spring and summer, but for now I think we’re in pretty good shape.
Here are a couple of G-Man playing around in his crib. I love the way his baby blue eyes are captured on film…er, I mean digital sensor array, I guess.

Who likes to eat those things anyway?
Hope everyone has a great Easter!

Our boy is very excited for opening day. At least he seemed excited when we put his Brewers shirt on yesterday. Unfortunately taking pictures of him has been relegated to lots of crawling around on the floor, trying to keep one step ahead of him. It’s amazing how fast he’s gotten at crawling in the last week or so. Turn your back for 10 seconds and he’s probably on his way to finding something to stand up on. Anyway, we’re very excited that the Brewers season is underway today. Daddy has been waiting to take him to his first game since he’s been born.

Unfortunately our buddy boy has come down with his first, official, full-blown cold. He’s been coughing and congested for a few days now. Momma says it sounds like he’s getting better today so hopefully he’s fully on his way to recovery. He’s such a tough little guy.
Here are a few photos we took on Sunday, just as the cold and runny nose was in its infancy.

I’m sad I didn’t nail the focus on this next one. But there’s no doubt our G is going to be breaking hearts by the time he’s in pre-school.
